IF you read and noticed. i didn't talk about my choir at all.
well my choir anyway.
so to elaborate since i'm in a better state of mind.
i joined choir. and it's a rewarding experience, singing praises to God.
but what i think the choir lacks is, hmmm, how do i put this.
well what i want to do, is change the way the choir works.
we need more committed members instead of just 4 or 5 people showing up at the proper time and everyone else coming 5 mins before mass starts.
i think the song selections are not suited for a congregation of youth, university students. if we want to attract people, we can't really stay like this.
we need to sing psalms!
ok, well i dont really mind the songs, but the songmaster is over enthusiastic sometimes i feel, i admire it, but he chooses songs that barely the choir can cope with, so how is the congregation gonna feel? and it happens almost every week.
coup d'etat anyone?
haha
well. one of my targets this semester is to get new members into the choir and to make it a more vibrant, dynamic experience so that more people would be interested and join us in singing praises to our God :)
