my secret Mother of Perpetual Help
Mother Of Perpetual Help.
she's not really a secret. she's everyone's mother!
this picture is really interesting. every friday my university church group has like rosary and then a bible session. for lent it's a Station's of the Cross then bible session thingy. and this is what we studied.
so basically from what i learnt. this picture is an icon. so it is actually talking to us. Mary is showing us the way. in actuality, one hand is carrying Jesus. and the other hand is showing us Jesus. Pointing to him.
Jesus is scared in the picture. you can tell by his hands grasping Mary's hands and that one of his sandals fell off showing him in a state of fright.
Jesus is scared because. the angels behind him. one is holding a cross. and the other is holding 2 spears. one with the sponge soak in vinegar. basically it's the Station's of the cross thingy.
From the cross. Jesus told us that Mary was our Mother.
Temptation is probably one of the biggest problems with todays community. i believe. as society potrays a lot of the temptations as "it's okay, everyone does it" it's normal. but all in all. it's still a sin. don't let society get into your heads fellow Catholics! strive. pray hard. go confession. Pray to Mary especially. she will help us and show us the way.

my secret reborns gundam
so this is. *drum roll*
my first
ever
HG 1/144 scale gunpla! i really liked it.
but because it was my first.
it wasn't really built well.
so please don't judge. my first ever. remember. 1st. but i kinda made it look nicer after awhile. i dont have it with me. so i can't really take my updated pictures. but i will! eventually.
i dont paint my gundams cause
1. too expensive to buy painting equipment
2. time consuming
3. scared i will mess it up
well since it was the first one. i didnt bother taking shots of the process. but here is the final product!
next we have a close up of it.
here's the back view
now a look on the reborn's cannon
i didn't adjust the hands as i tot it was troublesome. but notice the feet.
i did adjust those!
and the close up.
generally.
this gunpla looks real nice. although it's legs are very stiff.and the hand movements are limited. so it doesn't posses much poseability
it can transform to reborn's cannon so it's not bad
for those who really like posing with your gundams. this one is definitely a no no.
nothing special about this gunpla.
overall rating. 6/10.

my secret health issue
so. this all started one morning. when i chose to ignore the expiry date of my egg.
thinkin it's edible. but that night. when i boiled the 2nd egg. note i put the first one in my maggi mee. then i noticed the 2nd egg didnt sink. and stayed afloat.
i got worried. i googled up floatin eggs. floating eggs = rotten eggs.
then i googled up what happens if you eat rotten eggs. and mostly it's like vomiting diorhhea. things of that sort. then suddenly got one person say. its bad
it gives you....
SALMONELLA!
aaaaahhhh
i got damn scared and started searchin salmonella up.
after a long search. most cases isn't life threatening. its basically. food poisioning. just a fancy name. they know how to scare you abit with that long terms.
but anyway just to be take a precaution i wanted to go see the clinic on campus. but. it's closed on saturdays. sundays. and public holidays for that matter. so is every other clinic. then i was. hmm. ok la. go pharmacy on the way to grocery shopping.
and guess what.
CLOSED.
whaaaaaaaaaaat la. whats with this country (Australia), it happens to seem like bacteria, virus, all other infections or health related issues take a break on saturday, sunday and public holidays. how convenient that no one will get sick during those days. and probably people already sick won't be sick for those 2 short weekend days and automatically fall sick back on monday.
note. hint of sarcasm.
oh. also. i slammed my thumb into a cupboard. so i got a bleeding thumb.

my secret home country
this past 3 months. didn't really feel like a holiday.
all i did was work. and on top of that. worry a lot. as you grow up you realise you have so many things to worry about. and you miss the days when you were a kid without a single worry in the world.
although not a holiday. i think my experience back home was truly. truly. great.
the people. the food. my family. friends. girlfriend. it was all worthwhile.
although the country itself isnt great. this time tommorow i will find myself blogging in a new spot.
i'm gonna miss this place more than i know it. goodbyes are so hard to say.
i think if i could turn back time. i wouldnt have left. but when i grow up i think i would still try to find a way out of this country.
God. please protect my family, girlfriend, friends, and everyone i care for here.
everyone. i'll come back. :) pray you have a awesome life till.

my secret fear of flying
as tommorow i'll board a plane. sadly. i think i shall write about this
I have the fear of flying, also known as aerophobia, aviatophobia, aviophobia or pteromechanophobia. i think it must be a very popular phobia as they have four different names for it.
some people think it's silly to have this phobia. apparently air is the safest way to travel. road accidents are more common and they cause so many deaths during the year. but still! being up in the air. who wouldnt be scared to be a gazzillion miles above ground. planes are scary.
if i didnt need to fly anymore in my life i think i would take that life. but i have too many people i love not in the same place. so it's gonna be quite hard i guess.
well best way to overcome this fear is. sleeping on the plane. haha. or probably try to think of something else.

my secret life as a HG 1/144 gundam
since it's in the blog title. about time i write more about gunpla! yay!
after SD gundam obviously i went on to the harder stuff. High Grade models!
my first was ribbons gundam.
my gunplas might look crappy a bit as i dont paint over them. if i had the money and the time maybe i would. after looking at gunpla tutorials you see how hard it is they make gunplas. sanding down. painting. and all that. really takes a lot of time. so if i do post up pictures of my gunpla. dont judge me! im not as hardcore as you.
im quite excited that i bought the rx 78-2 ver.30th anniversary!
everyone that collects gunpla knows this is a must have gundam. the most classic gundam of all. even keroro gunso owns his own. from the looks of the series actually he probably has a million of them as he keeps breaking this model. but keeps having a new one.
and if you don't already own a rx78-2. this is a good catch. reviews of it say its a genuine steal.with it's better mobility and also this version of the HG includes gundam hammer.
doesn't look much like a hammer though. although there is a few dissapointed people that the beam saber is a single piece. but i don't think thats a worry.
anyway! my friend is coming down from korea. and the gunpla there seems cheap. and so much variety! so i decided to ask him to buy one for me. but which one. oh choices choices choices. lets have our readers (by that i mean reader, (singular)my girlfriend) decide!
but these are my shortlisted items!
char's zaku
and blu duel gundam
strike noir
let's see some votes!

my secret life as a trainee
As today was my last day as a trainee on my internship program. i reckon it's only write to right a blog about it. (if you noticed the error i made was on purpose.if you didnt notice, i just dont know what to say. i mean my grammatical errors are bad. but yours buddy. must be hideous, haha)
right.
so after 3 months of working. i realised. growing up is a hard process. glory days are gonna be over soon. time to get to the serious life. :(
if you never noticed. when you enter highschool you'll be like. oh man i miss primary school. those were the days. then when you go to college you'll be all. oh man i miss high school. those were the days. then when you go university you'll be all. oh man i miss college. those were the days. and when you work you'll be all. oh man i miss university. those were the days.
well work for me was pretty much a routine
get up
go work
read emails
watch informative videos
check news
read politics
work
coffee break
work
lunch
work
coffee break
work
go home
ps2
anime
call girlfriend
sleep
wake up
go work
etc.
so thats how my life was for the last 3 months. pretty much.
i did learn a many good stuff in work. which i will take to heart.
met lots of good ppl. met a few not so good ppl. but all in all a great experience.
normally i suck at goodbyes. but the key is to keep it short and simple. dont overextend and leave as soon as you said all you need to. or there would be awkwardness.
and that my friends is work life.
right.

my secret life as a Catholic
since it's sunday. it seems like the right thing to talk about religion.
might seem a bit odd that i'm totally going off the norm talking about food and religion. not my usual oh gunpla and anime!
well i'm full of surprises ;)
one thing i always wanted to blog about is. how i respect true Catholics. when i say true. i mean like seriously true. as in play by the book 100%. without a single cheat or a shortcut.
Being a Catholic, a conservative religion it's so hard to stay true to it. now-a-days i think there are many Cafeteria Catholics .
But it's so hard to become true as society has changed in so many ways. homosexuality has become somewhat accepted in communities. masturbation is normal. you hear stories of kids as young as 14 having sex.
anyway the point is. i remember watching a show long time ago. someone was dying. and wasn't a Christian and on his deathbed, the last few days, he wanted to go to heaven. so he started doing lots and lots of good deeds. but someone told him, if a a single good deed makes you climb a stair to heaven, you would not have climb enough stairs in this lifetime. you only can make it to heaven through perseverance and goodworks.
somehow i cant seem to get the right words into that phrase. my grammar skills can be compared to a french talking in portugese. (not some french that damn pro at portugese la. like he learn for 3 months. its an analogy. ) err. back to topic.
well i think you would get my point.
even though its hard to live a Catholic life. it's reward does not lie on earth.
so persevere. and if you find it hard and others critise you. remember that there are others out there who go through similar things that you do. and do what Jesus would.

my secret life as a money bag
if you didn't know. since chinese new year, i've had this craving for nuggets. which i still have not eaten!
it's golden. and crunchy. and inside is soft tender meat. and you can dip it in any sauce. yum yum Y______Y
instead of feeding my nuggets, my mom cooks some weird food as a substitute.
so i decided to do a food review.
this food is called money bag! haha. why issit called money bag? nothing to do with money. but look at it!
if you look at it closely. it kinda looks like a money bag. and definitely kinda looks like the money purse japanese edo period anime ppl carry!
it looks delicious when cooked likethat. almost like nuggets. crunchy outside soft inside. but this one is really really crunchy outside. and inside is just a prawn. prawn is nice but its just one T_T and they fill it up with some vege.
well
thats it for my food review.
money bag receives a 6/10
-2 for only having one prawn. spoils my hopes and dreams.
-2 for not being nuggets.

my secret life as samurai champloo
as i just finished another anime series. obviously the right thing to do is to write review.
the series, as you might have guessed from the title, is called samurai champloo.
it's about 2 samurai's and a girl that goes on this 26 episode journey to find a samurai that smells of sunflowers.
it's a smart and fun styled anime as it mixes the edo period with elements of hip hop. Mugen. the rough haired looking samurai, uses a lot of breakdancing moves during swordplay.
notable hip hop elements. graffiti, tagging, beatboxing, rapping, big boomboxes. such and such. the series doesn't focus on the element of hip hop itself. its kind of just blended into making it look natural. pretty smart if you would ask me. and i'm very sure hip hop + anime fans would especially enjoy how they have incooperated hip hop into this series. i know i definitely did!
it's good how they did not overdo the series. Mugen and Jin ( the longer haired samurai's) are pretty impressively skilled samurai's but while watchin the series you will realise they aren't the best skilled. the girl kinda is the reason why they're together.
although the series is named samurai champloo, i always wondered why is it called that. no one is named champloo. wikipedia-ing (another non-exisiting verb) the word champloo you will find this! haha. how funny. note that champuru and champloo are essentially same if you pronounce it in a japanese or korean manner. i know this because i have lived in korea for a time in my life.
although an interesting series the ending might seem a bit disappointing and there was one episode that did not make any sense at all. they whole series did not have any like sci-fi or supernatural feeling until an episode solely about zombies. it surprised many a fans thinking that the whole series was gonna take a new turn. but in happen to be an isolated incident. so don't be worried if you watch it and think "wth. how come got zombie one. is there some evil conspiracy" In fact that episode really did not make any sense. but whatever la.
overall i would reckon this get's an 7.5/10 in my book.
a good series to pick up if you're on a really long holiday.

my secret life as a papercraft
so. i printed out a papercraft model thinking. DAMN THIS WOULD BE COOL. seeing how awesome papercraft models look. especially gundam papercrafts!
so this mornin i decided to try it for myself. I know i get a hype from completing a normal gundam model. and this one is free pretty much! not to mention how much harder it will be so the sense of accomplishment will be like as big as graduating from university.
so i started cutting out a part. it's tiny. a bit wider than my thumb. and i started folding it. then i went. SCREW THIS. its so hard to fold, let alone paste. it's gonna drive me crazy if i keep that up. they have 10 pages just to make a SIMPLE SD gundam papercraft. 10 pages with like 20 parts a page. thats 200 parts! 200 tiny parts. that u need to fold. stick glue on. and stick with other parts. insane. insanity. this is not the life i want to be living.
but anyway. they still look cool so as a respect to papercraft lovers, haters, players, makers, and the lot. i will post up some pics i googled up.
(can u say that? googled? has google become a verb?)
as promised. here are the pics

my secret life as a manga
today while i was at work.
i was researching some very engineering related stuff. because i work at an engineering firm for those who dont know. and i just so happen to come across this website.
www.faceyourmanga.com
and i manganised myself!
the website basically helps you create a self potrait of yourself in manga style. for those of you who don't know what manga is. go to (A) if you do know. skip to (B)
(A) loser! wikipedia it. well. it's pretty much comics made in japan. well it started off like that. now they have a distinct style that whoever draws that certain style it should be called a manga. i found out today korean mangas are referred to as manhwa by people outside korea. it is literally correct for koreans to call manga manhwa.
(B)this is what i believe would be an accurate representation of what i would look like if i was manganese.
so today while i was at work, and while i was researching, i came across something very interesting. i found this website called
and this is what i would wish to look like.
i even took the time to imagine what i would look like if i became keroro.
haha! how lifeless am i?
i noticed there are some other sites that help you manganise yourself too. maybe in future.
well overall. this site deserves a clap. just A clap. single. by that i mean two claps would overdo the praise.

my secret life as a SD gunpla
as you all ( 0 readers ) might know. i am. a fan of gunpla.
first let me tell u how it all started.
*sound of tape rewinding*
i've never really been a mecha fan. for those of you who are not familiar. mecha's are pretty much robots with legs controlled by pilots. its popularly used in anime and they have their own genre. mecha. *surprise surprise*
when i first started anime mecha never really attracted me. however keroro did! and keroro has this big big fuss about gunpla. so obviously i need to know what the fuss was about. and bought myself a SD gunpla. and realised what keroro enjoyed so much. the joy of gunpla!
my first gunpla was ugly. so i won't show u that yet. for now. i'll show you one of my favourite SD gunplas.
*fast forward*
this is my custom made SD gunpla! the original is suppose to look like this
but the gunpla came with so many extra parts. so i played around.
look its even got a different helmet.
the helmet looks quite unique.
when it puts on the helmet it looks like the dark knight. like a batman gunpla.
the more technical part. the close up. the arms. and the back. it has a back pack if u look closely.
oh joy joy.
overall it has pretty good movement. although the arms show little poseability. nevertheless, it's damn cute. look at it's eyes.
this is it crossing swords with my SD Gundam Exia, which has to wait for another post of it's own. :D
first let me tell u how it all started.
*fast forward*
this is my custom made SD gunpla! the original is suppose to look like this
but the gunpla came with so many extra parts. so i played around.
look its even got a different helmet.

my secret girlfriend
yes! it may come to a surprise to my 0 readers. but i do have a girlfriend despite the fact i might seem like a loser who has nothing better to do in his life than watch anime and make gunpla. and it might also come to a surprise that she is hot! hot! hot!
but yes.
she is a secret. not because she doesn't exist! or im shy about it!
first let me explain.
growing up in malaysia. if you are not familiar with it it's not worth knowing anyway. well asian parents in malaysia are really damn conservative. i'm at an age old enough to do anything legally anywhere in the world. but my mom still does not approve me of having a girlfriend and scorns at the idea. zzz
since only one of my parents has fully asian blood i only hear one of my parents complain about me having a relationship.
but unfortunately for my girlfriend she hears both sides of the story. she's pretty much not even allowed to date. imagine if her parents found out she was in a relationship! you might be asking yourself "what kind of parents won't let they're child even date". the answer is. probably conservative asian parents whose child is young.
not my fault she's young! i cant help to fall for cute innocent girl-next-door looks who has the heart of an angel. which i might have corrupted slightly. she's pretty mature for her age and i'm pretty childish for mine so we're totally compatible. there's pretty much nothing in the world i would change about her. she's got a pretty laugh, pretty smile, pretty looks, great sense of humour, good fashion sense, kind hearted, etc etc. the list can just go on. i love her just the way she is :) maybe make her a little older so that her parents would let her date. haha.
i would like to show you all a picture of her. but shes a secret, and i'm pretty sure she'd get mad at me for putting a picture of her. she'll complain it doesnt look good and she's not photogenic or something.
the best things in life are kept secret anyway right?
the ratings are
looks:10/10
attitude:10/10
hence she scores 20/10 overall. yay me!

my secret life as keroro gunso
what? my first post. is. an. anime review.
you might be wondering why?
well. because i seem to be spending my little but sad free time watching this. currently this is my favourite anime. it's genious. genious maybe an understatement even. it's what every above average iq otaku person should watch. it combines the elements of wordplay and several genre of animes.
it parodies many popular japanese animes. if you watch detective conan like i do. (cough, no life T_T) Then it would be obvious that a few episodes with the high school detective portrays conan himself.
sometimes the titles are a big give away. spirited away, a weird anime movie about a bath house for spirits was parodied in a way where keroro gunso created a bath house for aliens. the title was "Natsumi and Fuyuki, Spirited Away". and gundam has made more than several cameos. yay!
why do i like keroro so much? maybe it makes me feel like there is a connection.
he's basically living the life that every otaku person dreams of. minimal work - house chores. anime. manga. gunpla. ruling pekopon. I MEAN COME ON! is that not the life? need i not emphasize the multitudes of gunpla.
whats a blog without pictures. to show my point
right? some ppl would die for magnitude of this collection.
if only. if only.
well back to the point.
overall keroro gunso so far. i think i'm on 3rd season.
hit's a 9/10.
the stories are becoming a bit more odd. less as fun as they were. but nevertheless it's a still fun packed super anime!
