my secret prayer

Welcome to another (probably my first) of my the Catholic religion 101. Well, this is probably more generalized than specifically to the Catholic religion. But either way, i think it's important to understand what prayer really is about!

Why do we pray? good question. And have i got a good answer for you! Let's first talk about love.

Love, when you love someone, be it your family, girlfriend, friends, and what not, you want to stay in touch, keep updated and stuff right. And we do this through so many means, talking, phone calls, emails. If we love God, it's only right we do the same.

I look at it this way. prayer is like a cellphone, think about it! We don't have a phone number or an email address we can call God with, so we do this through prayer, and how convenient is that, it's free of charge and you can do it anywhere anytime!

What do we prayer about? well, what would you like to talk to God about, that's really the question. Prayer should come natural, Prayer is not something you have to do just because your parents told you to *cough cough*, well most of the time it starts of that way, but you should really understand what prayer is. But anyway, some of the generally always used in prayer, (a tip for prayer beginners) is asking for God's grace, help, forgiveness, thanking him, praising him...

Besides that, there's always the classic prayers that everyone loves, The Our Father, The Hail Mary, Glory Be, Fatima's Prayer, Angel of God.

And here are some other prayers i've found useful in my life, and i'm sure you would too.

A prayer i believe is a means of building up our relationship with God, which makes total sense, as when you get to know someone the more you guys talk the more you get to know that someone. And one thing about prayers is, don't be discouraged if you don't think you prayed correctly or had some mis-perfections in your prayer. No one is perfect like God. I think praying is like building up a Gunpla, each prayer is a different part, sometimes you might have cut it wrongly, or chipped it a little, something wrong, but with more practice, you get better at it, and when you look at the whole gunpla, it's probably not as bad as you think it was. Same as prayers, the more you do it, the better you get at it, and somehow it'll work out. And hopefully by the end of your life on earth, you'll have a shelf full of gunplas! and by that i mean prayers!

So with that in mind, remember to prayer everyday!

or maybe not a surprise! i donno, well you guys should know by now how cute my girlfriend babysaurus is! Today i want to share with you guys, a website my girlfriend visit, over and over, i think she might spend more time on that website than on me sometimes! T_T

my secret patron saint of hungary day

If you didn't know, Monday was the day of Patron Saint, Saint Stephan I of Hungary

I'm not sure he looked like that, but here's what wikipedia says about him, he wasn't always born St Stephan, that name isn't really Hunagarian, you namsang? heh. Apparently my parish priest told me he was like asian, well Mongolian, a lot of Hungarians in his time. late 900s were Mongolian, thats why if you go to hungary you can see a lot of slit eyed folk. So anyway, his real name was Vajk, and i just found out, he was the FIRST king of Hungary, how's bout that for some history lesson!

Ok, now i kinda remembere why he was canonized, he brought basically the religion, and growth of religion in Hungary, set up many Churches and stuff, he also dedicated quite a bit to Mother Mary if i remembered.

Although nothing exciting, he still did a lot of good in this world! if only more kings were like him, well by kings i mean leaders. I don't think we have much kings anymore, and even so they don't own much power.

May he rest in peace.

my secret war for gotham city! story

It's Gotham, a city known for it's darkness, citizens live in fear, villains live in fear, Batman is the only reason the city is still alive, but can he keep it alive for long?

As Gotham becomes infamous, with more and more people challenging batman for supremacy, which leaves Gotham with higher crime and mortality rates, until it comes to a point where chaos breaks lose, Gotham has become a war zone. If Batman doesn't stop it soon, Gotham will become "no man's land" again. Batman knows what must be done, he gathers the family, Batman, Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl to take care of the streets, they work hard, day and night, to keep the chaos under control. Little do they know though, that something big will hit them, the Revolution.

The Revolution is a group of bandits, outlaws, vigilantes, anyone who wants to bring Gotham to a whole new Revolution, an age of chaos, they want to bring Batman to his misery, most of them anyway. The Revolution see's the 2nd Robin, Jason Todd, as the Red Hood, as one of the big guns. Clayface and the Holiday Killer, join the Red Hood with the same purpose, to bring Batman to his knees. The Question joins the Revolution with the philosophy that she can bring Gotham back to peace by using chaos, a reasoning that cannot be understood by anyone else, and the last of the Revolutions Big Five is seated by Robin, an evil twin version, from an alternate reality with his true purposes as to why he has the join the revolution is not known.

The Revolution plans an ambush to leave the Batman team stunned, they know the only way they can take down the Bat family is by using what the Bat family do so well, use stealth and the element of surprise.

The Red Hood provides a diversion, The Bat-Family knows how Dangerous is and chases after him, but soon smoke clouds provided by robin and the question appear shock the Bat Family. from the smoke clayface appears and smashes Batgirl into the air. The Bat Family tries to fall back to regroup an attack but as they do, heavy gunfire from the holiday killer and Red Hood disrupts their formation. The Bat-Family has no choice but to go into combat with improvisation.

They go at it hard and long, Batgirl sustained the most injury, as clayface had the first strike, and better of her most of the time. Red Hood proved to be a match for Batman, while the robins with the same level of skill were most of the time at a standstill. Nightwing was at the most disadvantage as he was outnumbered by The Question and The Holiday Killer. The Bat-Family were looking to be weak, and if this holds up they would be slaughtered. They retreated.

Batgirl and Nightwing were in no position to go into the battlefield as they sustained the most injury. Batgirl, more so, as she began to start losing faith in Gotham, and what it stood for, she feels Gotham doesn't have a fighting chance, and doesn't understand why Batman strives so hard to save a city that's destroying itself. She loses faith in the Batman. Robin is eager to go again, but Batman doesn't allow him, Batman blames himself for this, he wouldn't risk his families lives anymore. Batman finds a new alternative.

Batman calls upon a few friends, Rip Hunter, the time traveller, in this time, help can be found in the most unusual places, with Rip's expertise and vast knowledge, they brainstorm up a plan. They figured they have to take the Revolution down fast and heavy, as Batman he might just be one man, but as Bruce Wayne, he has friends in high places. He calls upon Wonder Woman and Jason Blood aka the Demon Etrigan, to help put an end to the revolution.

They go in fast and strong, Wonder Woman, mighty as she is does big damage in small time, The Holiday Killer scared out of his wits by Etrigan, flees the scene only to be captured by Batman. The Question too knows that the big guns are too much for her to handle. She retreats into the shadows. Red Hood now knowing that no strategy is going to be good enough goes into a fit of rage, but that leaves him careless, Batman uses that to his advantage and pins him down. Evil Robin and Clayface, after doing heavy damage back to Wonder Woman, retreats off.

Bruce Wayne and Co, just about manage to put the Revolution at a halt, for now, but it was too late anyway, Gotham was in Chaos too long, no one knew what had happen to the Question, Robin and Clayface however wasn't going to let the Revolution stop, they had other plans of their own. the Bat Family was still in no condition to take care of Gotham. After what Wonder Woman went through Batman decided he had to look elsewhere for support.

Evil Lantern Rings have started to descend onto Gotham, The Revolution continues, and the Bat-family is in no position to watch over Gotham. What awaits Gotham in the near future? Little is known for the future of this city, but after the war for Gotham comes the fall of Gotham, Gotham after the war at it's darkest hour.

here's the scenario,

Gotham city~

a city overrun with chaos and amok. villains, heroes, and vigilantes alike try to control the city with their might!

It's up to you to decide who keeps Gotham and who leaves,

it's basically a heroclix scenario game,

a normal 300 pt game.

but here are your basic teams,

you have the

Batman Family (which is a given)

Batman Enemies (not your regular ones though)

Bruce Wayne and Co (which adds some new elements to this game)

Batman Family Team

First off let me explain the Batman Family Team.

We have

JL Batman ots - 75

Cr Batgirl -70

Cr Nightwing - 79

+Lunge 5

total - 300

the Big Bad 4 of Gotham, or the Big Good 4, however you want to look at it.

This team is a good all round team with high attacks, outwits and perplexs,

basically this team focuses on stealth and destroying your opponents from the shadows.

hard hitters batman and batgirl go in for the jump while nightwing and robin supply some good cover with smoke clouds and what not and sometimes a good punch or two.

A fun team to play with, but play your cards right, dont jump the gun to quickly or else.

Can you and Batman save Gotham from it's downfall?

an Odd combination of enemies you might think, but deadly it is!

Evil Twin Robin joins with Red Hood Clayface and the Holiday Killer to do dirty deeds, while The Question believes that the only way to restore peace on Gotham is through heavy destruction and Chaos, hence comes and joins the Revolution to take on Gotham for it's own.

The way to go about this team is to take advantage of the Batman Enemy TA (Team Ability)

with high attacks from Red Hood and Holiday Killer, you give Clayfaces poor 8 to a jump of 10-11. This Makes Clayface your frontman, use him to knock out anything in your way, you know he's gonna be one hard cookie to kill, while Red Hood and Holiday stands behind providing with a little range support. Robin and Question uses stealth to stay in the dark while providing some support. This team is a bunch of evil geniuses, with you being able to make use of up to 4 outwits at a go, as well as a perplex help from Robin and Question. Play your cards right and you could help the Revolution take over Gotham in style.

Bruce Wayne and Co.

Bruce Wayne is a man in High Places with High Friends, let's take a look at what we have in store,

BatB Bruce Wayne/Batman AE - 48

BatB Wonder Woman - 108

BatB Jason Blood/Etrigan AE - 44

Cr Rip Hunter -97

total - 297

Bruce Wayne with his celebrity status tries to take Gotham into his hands by calling on friends Wonder Woman, Jason Blood and the time traveller Rip Hunter. As you can see this team doesn't have high hitters, yet anyway. The strategy here is to make use of Wonder Woman, strive for the first strike, she gives off a high damage of 4, with flurry, that means, your first strike can kill off an opposing force, and to make sure that happens you've got Rip Hunter and Jason Blood with probability control to make sure the hit goes through! Keep Rip close to Wonder Woman for that special support where his SP helps to make sure no one can counter your moves, Bruce Wayne thought of his team to ensure there is no room for errors. It might seem this team relies heavily on Wonder Woman, but that is at first, when enemies are exhausted, call upon the Big Guns Batman and Etrigan for that late game ass kicking! The only team that doesn't rely on stealth but also the only with a taxi (Wonder Woman with flying ability) Are you a Big Shot enough to bring Bruce Wayne and Co to Stardom?

Overall view we have a pretty balance team, Batman Team as an all rounder that should be able to pack a punch or two, The Batman Enemies, who give no way for leniency with outwits to counter their opponents every move, and Bruce Wayne and Co, with a power packed squad that will try to topple the balance in the playing field. Strategy is key into taking over Gotham City! Play the right cards and lead your team to domination!
